The CCK CLERESTORY | Iran Special Series
The Grandeur of Iran
Planned for March 21, 2027 | Invitation to contribute
The Corridor of Comprehensive Knowledge (CCK) is preparing a special issue of The CCK CLERESTORY to mark the beginning of the Iranian New Year.
This initiative seeks to explore Iran’s history, science, mathematics, technology, arts, geography, natural heritage and cultural traditions through interdisciplinary, problem-based educational articles. The aim is to connect meaningful topics with concepts taught in schools, giving students and educators opportunities to investigate them from more than one perspective.
Looking beyond this first issue, a longer-term aspiration is to help develop a structured, thoughtfully reviewed collection of educational articles about Iran. Such resources could connect subjects and educational levels to topics, questions and activities useful in classrooms. This is a direction for future collaboration, not an existing archive or formal review program.
The initiative draws on the personal experiences and cultural connections that inspired it, while its educational approach is not limited to Iran. With interested partners, related initiatives could eventually explore the heritage and achievements of other cultures and nations.
An invitation to contribute
We welcome ideas, feedback and possible contributions from Iranians worldwide, scholars of Iranian studies, educators, researchers, artists, scientists, other professionals, and educational, scientific, cultural and community organizations. Suggestions for topics, interdisciplinary problems, expert perspectives or potential partnerships are all welcome.
